ROV Operations: Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm

Norfolk Marine's Inspection and light work class ROV has successfully completed the remote installation of a multi sensor data acquisition instrument on the Sheringham Shoal OSWF. The instrument mounted in a heavy duty frame was deployed from the multicat “Gray Mammoth” at the base of Turbine A6. The works involved a pre installation survey of the area around Turbine A6 to identify a suitable position for the instrument, release of the lifting gear once the sensor had been lowered to the bed, and a final post installation survey.
