The Norfolk Rose Joins the Team in Lowestoft

Norfolk Marine Ltd's new vessel, The MV Norfolk Rose, has arrived at the company's Lowestoft base following the completion extensive conversion work at Mooney Boats Shipyard in Killybegs, Ireland.

                The vessel is due to undergo final sea trials before beginning work. The additions to the vessel include an extension, lengthening the vessel from 17.5m to 21.5m, a new 6 ton/m crane on the foredeck and an 'A' frame on the stern.

                Norfolk Marine's Sales Director, Johnny Gallagher, said, “we now have a vessel that gives us the capability to undertake full subsea inspection services for clients, from Bathymetric Seabed Surveys to full, hands-on, detailed inspections below the water line.”

                “The Norfolk Rose,” he continues, “will operate from our facility on South Quays, in the Port of Lowestoft, alongside our Inspection Class ROV, diving systems, and Bathymetric survey equipment, allowing rapid deployment onto the vessel.”
