Capping Beam Repairs Completed for Namport

A Specialist Concrete Repair Team from Norfolk Marine Ltd have completed repairs to the Capping Beam of Berths 4 to 8 in the Port of Walvis Bay Namibia. A bespoke designed assess system was fabricated locally in Walvis Bay for the works, the system was designed to be capable of rapid deployment and removal without the need for a crane to minimise disruption within the Port during the contract.

The team have now move the Syncrolift-Lift Jetty to complete similar repairs to the concrete deck slab and side panels. This section of the works are due for completion by the end of July.
