Irstead Billet Pile Repairs Completed

A specialist team from Norfolk Marine have completed repairs to the piles supporting Irstead Billet Boatshed for the Broads Authority in Norfolk. Work comprised of the strengthening of eight tubular steel piles which had corroded in the splash zone. The piles were cleaned prior to the fitting of galvanised steel box collars and the annulus between the two was filled with a high strength non-shrink grout.
