December Surveys Completed
Norfolk Marine Ltd completed two short contracts in early December to round off a good year for the company’s survey teams and vessels.
The Norfolk Swift has completed short a bed sampling campaign to an OSWF export cable route operating from the Port of Ramsgate. The versatile vessel's shallow draft allowed sampling to be carried out in 2.5m water depths. Taking advantage of the calm weather in early December. The works were completed in a few days with the vessel returning to Norfolk Marine’s Lowestoft Quay side facility on 9th December.
The second contract was carried out in Donegal Bay for BAM Civil in conjunction with our survey partners Geomara. The works involved a Bathymetric survey of the proposed outfall route for the new Wastewater Treatment Plant under construction at Bundoran, Co. Donegal.
2016 has seen the company complete survey contracts on several Offshore Windfarms in UK waters along with works on the West Coast of Africa.
