Salvage of Sail Vessel, Jezebel

A salvage team for Norfolk Marine Ltd have raised the sunken sailing vessel, Jezebel. The vessel had sunk at its mooring pontoon in Lowestoft Marina late last month. Following a dive inspection of the wreck, Technical Marine Services Crane Barge, the “SheerKahn”, was chartered to lift the vessel. The SheerKahn collected a full surface supplied diving system from Norfolk Marine Ltd’s Lowestoft Operations Facility and travelled to Lowestoft Marina. The Jezebel was then raised and taken to East Point Metal Trading’s ship disposal site for breaking.
