NORFOLK TERN Visits East Anglia Offshore Wind Farm Zone Met Masts

Norfolk Marine Ltd’s new Crew Transfer Vessel, the “NORFOLK TERN”, has completed her first contract. Working out of the ports of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, she has ferried Vattenfall’s technicians to met masts EAOW ZE, located some 60 miles NE of Lowestoft, and EAOW 1B, 30 miles SE of Lowestoft. With a cruising speed of 22 to 23 knots and burning less than 90 litres of fuel per hour, she made light work of the long distance transits.
