Contract Award: Scour Protection, Port of Cotonou, Benin

Norfolk Marine has been awarded a subcontract by Soltanche Bachy for the installation of 14000m2 of poured in-situ scour protection for the new berth at the Port of Cotonou in Benin, Africa. The constant thickness fabric formwork mattress system is being supplied by Proserve Ltd and the concrete is being batched on site by the main contractors.

The company’s 42” recompression chamber and two surface supplied dive spreads have been mobilised to site.
